There is a lot to be thankful for in this world and on this "Thank You Thursday" we are grateful for the roadblocks, the hurdles, and for those times when it seems like accomplishment is an arduous uphill climb. Well, for us, anything related to what we are doing that seems so worthwhile is so worth those moments that are, well, kind of scary.
Everyone goes through those scary moments, but not everyone will talk about it. In my favorite poem, "IF", Rudyard Kipling asserts "If you can meet with triumph and disaster and treat those two impostors just the same..." I always think of that line in the poem when wonderful things are happening and when those roadblocks pop up along the way. Luckily for me, with every little (or big) hurdle, there has always been something or someone that has been that little reminder that the mission behind The Kind Cake is so much bigger than I'll ever be and I think that's pretty cool.
"When life shows you how love should go, just write the world a thank you note."
- The Kind Cake
I believe in serendipity and I believe in things ordained by something that's infinitely bigger than me. Thank God for that.
